Big Lottery Prize Sold In East Haven

EAST HAVEN, CT — A winning lottery ticket worth $25,000 was recently sold in East Haven, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

An East Haven resident, who wished to remain anonymous, won $25,000 on a Play 4 ticket that was sold at Corner Stop at 82 Hemingway Ave., according to Lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
