East Haven Firefighter/Paramedic Eric Hallstrom Named EMT Of The Year

And East Haven firefighter/EMT Kyle Kosiorowski was named Paramedic Field Instructor of the Year by the Yale-New Haven Center for EMS.

NEW HAVEN, CT — East Haven Fire Chief Matt Marcarelli congratulated East Haven Firefighters Local 1205 firefighter EMT’s and Paramedics who were recognized during the 2025 Yale Center for EMS Responder Recognition Awards.

Awards were presented for excellence in Emergency Medical Services and specifically the successful cardiac arrest resuscitations of three East Haven residents during the past year.

The following firefighters performed successful resuscitations; Ian Lemaster, Nick Demetriades, Eric Demeraski, Robert Black, Adam Ordway, Bryan Kollmer, Jonathan Mustacchi, Brian Arms, David Pearson, Tyler Ross, Jeffrey Puciato, Michael Rak, Davis Boyd, Gordon Stewart, and Matthew Hall.
