East Haven Police Arrests for Aug. 25 to Aug. 27

The following arrest information is supplied by the East Haven Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Wendy Escalera, 34, of Blatchley Avenue in New Haven, was charged Aug. 27 with injury/risk/impairing the morals of a minor and third-degree criminal trespass. A bond amount of $2,500 was set and she is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 4. Arresting officer: Edmund Vecellio.

Shawn Kezik, 34, of Borrmann Road in East Haven, was charged Aug. 26 with disorderly conduct. A bond amount of $2,500 was set and he was scheduled to appear in court Aug. 27. Arresting officer: David Olson.

Matthew Salomon, 33, of Quinnipiac Avenue in New Haven, was charged Aug. 26 with criminal possession of a controlled substance or less than 4 ounces of marijuana. A bond amount of $2,500 was set and he is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 4. Arresting officer: Matthew Wambolt.

Frank Dempsey, 23, of Robert Drive in East Haven, was charged Aug. 26 with carrying a dangerous weapon and third-degree trespassing. No bond amount was set and he is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 4. Arresting officer: Franshesca Ojeda. 

Daniel Patrick Lews, 46, of Franklin Road in Hamden, was charged Aug. 26 with two counts of second-degree failure to appear in court and two counts of violation of probation. A total bond amount of $77,600 was set and he was scheduled to appear in court the same day. Arresting officers: Eduardo Diaz and Robert S. Brockett.

Shaquan Chambers, 23, of Hillside Avenue in New Haven, was charged Aug. 25 with operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operation of a motor vehicle with a registration and/or license that has been suspended or revoked, reckless driving, operation of an ATV on a public highway and second-degree reckless endangerment. A bond amount of $1,500 was set and he is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 4. Arresting officer: John F. Finnimore.
