UPDATE: Motorcycle Rider Seriously Hurt After Thrown From Bike
Police said the accident happened in the Foxon Hill Road area between Zolan Drive and Charnes Drive.
EAST HAVEN, CT -The East Haven Police Department in conjunction with the South Central Connecticut Traffic Unit (SCCTU) is investigating a serious injury motorcycle accident that occurred at the intersection of Foxon Hill Road by Zolan Drive on at 9:52 pm. Friday.
Upon officer’s arrival, it was determined that a vehicle was traveling westbound on Foxon Hill Road and was attempting to make a left turn into East Ridge Estates. At the same time, a motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Foxon Hill Road.
As a result of this sequence of events, the motorcycle operator took evasive action and was ejected from the motorcycle. The motorcycle operator had no helmet and sustained serious injuries. The motorcycle operator was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital. Neither operator is being identified at the moment.
