East Haven Police Look for Car That Had Accident With Motorcycle
East Haven police are asking help in locating a car that was involved in a an accident with a motorcyclist; the car fled the scene on Thurs.

EAST HAVEN, CT - East Haven police are looking for a car that was involved in a motor vehicle accident with a motorcycle Thursday afternoon on Frontage Road and fled the scene.
The motorcyclist has serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

“On 08/30/2018 at approximately 12:40 a.m. officers were dispatched to the area of 22 Frontage Road, Express Fuel for a motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle and a four door vehicle.
“Upon arrival, officers located an individual who stated he was turning into Express Fuel on his motorcycle, when he was struck from behind by a 4 door Toyota or Lexus. He stated that after being struck, the vehicle fled eastbound on Frontage Road/Saltonstall Parkway towards Sanford Street.

“Video surveillance of the area around the time of the incident shows a black or dark blue sedan driving eastbound on Saltonstall Parkway with what appears to be front end damage and sparks coming from the bottom of the vehicle and a trail of fluid left behind as the vehicle passes. At this time, we are looking for a dark 4 door Toyota or Lexus with front right damage.
“Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Officer Ray Wilson at 203-468-3820 or they can reach out to us on our department Facebook page. All calls will remain anonymous. The operator of the motorcycle was transported to the hospital for evaluation. He has serious but non-life threatening injuries.’’
