“Sgt. Rybaruk is a 14 year veteran of the force and has held many positions at the PD including being a SWAT operator with SCR-SWAT, K-9 Program Supervisor, Field Training Officer, Peer Support Team member and a friend to all. A man of many jokes and one liners, he was an asset to this department and will be missed dearly.
“In his own words echoed in his last email to the department: “Take care and be kind to each other. This job can be difficult, lift each other up when someone is having a bad day. Remember an act of kindness is a strength, not a Officer’s weakness.” These words were demonstrated by him everyday.
