FREE Firewood! Yes, That's Right. Free.
A couple in East Haven who took down trees on their property is offering up the firewood to anyone for free. You come pick it up and load it in your vehicle and it's yours.
Although the days are hot, humid and steamy right now, the winter months will arrive this year as they do every year in Connecticut.
Now's the time to stock up on firewood for your wood stove or fireplace. And what's better than having a convenient place to pick up the wood? How about it being FREE?
Teresa and Rick Holm contacted the East Haven Patch to say they have lots and lots of oak and maple firewood. "Free, free, free," they said.
Call them first to make sure there's some left at 203-823-0252 or drop by at 485 Main Street in East Haven. You pick up, you load, you get it for free.
