EAST HAVEN, CT — East Haven police charged a Hamden man in connection with a series of organized thefts at the Frontage Road Home Depot, according to police spokesperson Capt. Joseph M. Murgo.

Murgo said the arrest of 51-year-old Stacey M. Grier, "stems from a pattern of suspicious transactions uncovered by Home Depot’s Asset Protection team, which led to a broader investigation conducted by Officer Stephen Marsico."

According to Murgo and the arrest warrant affidavit, Grier repeatedly approached the same register and, during at least 15 visits, received high-value merchandise without paying full price.
