NEW HAVEN--A New Haven judge ruled against a protective order in the case against East Haven Mayor Joseph Maturo Jr.

The New Haven Register reports that Superior Court Judge Steven D. Ecker made the ruling against the protective order last week. Maturo is involved in a court case with ex East Haven staffer Francine Carbone.

Carbone, a former town hall secretary, had filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against the mayor last spring.
