Obituary: Alana M. Haroskewicz, 59, of East Haven

Alana M. Haroskewicz of East Haven died unexpectedly on April 18, 2024 at her home.

Alana was born in New Haven on January 13, 1965, daughter of the late Alan Haroskewicz and Anna Corso Haroskewicz. She worked as a customer service representative for O2 Safe Solutions. Alana loved nature, the beach and baking. She most enjoyed baking old family recipes, especially Easter Pies. She was known to stay up all night creating cakes for special occasions.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Alan and Molly Haroskewicz of Watertown and their children, Nicholas and Kimberly, and her treasured cousins, Robert, Alyssa, Jessica and Gina. She is also survived by her dear, lifelong friends Jackie Esposito-Newton of Guilford and Lorrie Mahanna of Maine, and their children, to whom she was like a special aunt, Samir, Gianna, Mikal, Chris, Izzy and Katie. Alana was a fierce protector of the people she loved, especially children.

Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service on Friday April 26, 2024 at 11:00 in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
