Obituary: Lisa A. Iaquessa, 62, of East Haven
She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, her fur baby Peanut, the beach, feeding seagulls, crocheting, and online shopping.
Lisa A. Iaquessa, 62 of East Haven passed away peacefully surrounded by her family after a long illness at Yale New Haven Hospital on March 22, 2024. Lisa was born on May 16, 1962 to the late Robert and Anita Benevich.
Before she retired, Lisa worked at Circuit-Wise Company. She also went on to have a few part-time jobs at Walmart and Subway before her disability took over.

Lisa absolutely loved her family, especially her grandchildren as well as her fur baby Peanut. One of Lisa’s passions was reading the Bible and keeping her strong connection with God. She loved the beach, feeding seagulls, crocheting, and online shopping, especially for her grandkids.
Lisa is survived by her children Merissa (Justin) Golia, and Ronald Iaquessa Jr. Her grandchildren, Justin Golia Jr., Morgan Golia, Ronald Iaquessa III, Ryder Iaquessa and Brody Iaquessa.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her one true love and husband, Ronald Iaquessa Sr.; along with some of his family members who graciously took her in as their own – especially her sister-in-law Mary Iaquessa. Lisa also tragically lost her brother, Robert Benevich in 2011.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on SATURDAY April 6, 2024 at St. Ambrose Parish at St. Augustine Church, 30 Caputo Rd North Branford, CT at 10:00AM. Following the church service Ronald and Merissa would like to invite family and friends back to Ronald’s house (115 Hughes St. East Haven CT) for a celebration of life in Lisa’s honor. There are no calling hours. East Haven Memorial Funeral Home has been entrusted with her care.
