Loving mother of James (Katherine) Viglione Jr of East Haven. Cherished grandmother of Elizabeth (Chris) Hart and Jennifer Viglione. Great grandmother of Lexie and Carley Hart. Mary was predeceased by her sisters Rae Zupppardi and Rosa Marcarelli and brothers Ricky and Louis Gallo. Mary was born in New Haven on October 21, 1932 daughter of the late Julia DeVerniro Gallo. Prior to her retirement Mary was a Bookkeeper for A-1 Toyota of New Haven. Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80) East Haven WEDNESDAY morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Family and friends may call TUESDAY from 4pm to 7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital <a href="http://www.stjude.org" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.stjude.org</a> or the Wounded Warriors Project www.woundedwarriorproject.com.
