Patch reached out to candidates for office to get more information on their campaigns and the issues that are facing their towns.

Yes board of education 2013-2017 Town council 2017 to 2025 Vice Chairman park and recreation commission 1998 2005 2007 to 2011 Cable advisory Commission 1997 -2005

Why are you seeking this office?
I am running to keep the town and District moving forward. We have kept taxes stable, restored public safety, public service and funded the police department and the fire department. Attracting reasonable economic development. More work needs to be done. We need to concentrate on district 3 infrastructure and bringing more development into our community while keeping stable taxes public safety and education a main priority. We have done this, but we need to do more work. I work hard for District 3. I am the voice at the Table, always fighting for my constituents and answering the call .

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
Taxes bringing in economic development keeping are district safe and secure

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
The major difference is experience and my record of transparency, and getting the job done.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
Traffic, reasonable economic development in Foxon, continued transparency, and honest good governance keeping stable taxes, fiscal responsibility, blight and zoning

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I’ve worked on eight town budgets and four Board of Education budgets. I have the experience and knowledge to ask the right questions. I am diligent in my district of answering the call for my constituents, helping them solve problems and getting things done. I’ve also helped achieve the town to get traffic speed bumps and camaras installed in dangerous areas in Foxon district 3 I’ve supported the police and fire departments with additional personal and equipment that has been underfunded for 40 I have voted and supported the public works and Parks department with desperately needed equipment, which was neglected under the prior administration. I fought the Sperry Lane development all the way to the courts in Hartford. Connecticut I went to the trial and hearings with myself and citizens, and stood by them in that fight of overdevelopment and will continue to fight any overdevelopment in our district.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
My dad always told me stand up for what’s right be honest work hard love God country and family

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I have volunteered for many organizations in my district and in our town. I’m a 4th degree member of The Knights of Columbus Patrick, Donlin assembly 2459. I am a member of our Lady of the Rosary Council Knights Of Columbus 3300. I am a lector at Our Lady of Pompeii Church as well as a minister of the Eucharist. I am a member of choir, I volunteer at the food banks, and I have volunteered at the shelters in New Haven. I am also a guitar teacher and I perform in a local band and support many local charities in town. I love East Haven and I love supporting my constituents and district 3, God bless East Haven.
