If at all possible, avoid the Q Bridge this weekend.
The Department of Transportation (DOT) is warning of lane and ramp closures on I-95 this weekend that could cause significant delays on the Q Bridge through Monday morning.
Construction will begin Friday night on southbound lanes between Exit 50 (Woodward Ave./Lighthouse Point) and Exit 46 (Sargent Drive) and the I-91 southbound interchange.
Drivers should also expect intermittent 20-minute ramp closures between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. Saturday.
