Helen Marie Albis (nee Malinske), 100, passed away May 9. A devoted wife, mother of seven, and cherished family above all, she was known for her cooking, love of reading, and crafts. She supported her husband’s medical practice and later her son’s law office. A faithful parishioner of Saint Vincent de Paul Church, she taught CCD and later volunteered at Yale New Haven Hospital’s pediatric unit.

Eddie H. Mealey, 83, passed away May 12. A US Army veteran, he enjoyed playing golf, football, bowling, walking, planting and yard work. In addition, Eddie loved writing songs and playing guitar. Prior to his retirement, Eddie worked as a plumber for Carpenter Technology and later worked as a car salesman.
