Today In East Haven: Head to the Beach!

The weather today looks like a perfect beach day. It will be mostly sunny, with a high near 79. Light south wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning.  The rest of the week looks like there will be some rain. 

What To Do...

Seniors - there's always something to do at the East Haven Senior Center.  And if you time it right, you can get your photo taken with the Mayor and have it posted on the East Haven Patch! It's something the town as well as Patch does every month. 

In Case You Missed It

Speaking of the beach, if you know a resident who needs the assistance of a walker or wheelchair and is hesitant about going to the beach due to the lack of mobility on sand, the town now owns an all-terrain wheelchair made just for the beach. They can sign it out to use on the beach and grass.

A story on the town's Fall Harvest Festival. Believe it or not, the 22nd annual event will be here soon on September 6, 7 and 8.   School starts soon, too, on August 28.
