Trip a Dream Come True For East Haven Twins Battling Illness
A local charity is sending the East Haven twins battling a rare disorder on a special trip.
EAST HAVEN--Local twins Eddie and Stevie Ahern will have one special dream of theirs come true this weekend.
Thanks to the Danbury-based Dream Come True foundation, the 12-year-old brothers, both diagnosed with the rare genetic disorder called Prader-Willi syndrome, will be going to Disney World, The New Haven Register reports.
The twins, along with their parents and two older siblings, will be leaving for a week-long vacation to Orlando, Florida, on Saturday, the Register reports.

The boys will get to visit Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World, according to the Register.
The foundation is dedicated to helping children with chronic and terminal illnesses. According to its website:
