The Annual Chester Wine & Beer Tasting Is Cancelled For 2021

Once again the annual Chester Wine and Beer Tasting has been officially canceled. The hope is it will be back again for 2022.

CHESTER, CT — It was an annual event but unfortunately, due to Covid-19, the Chester Fair Wine and Beer Tasting, held each year in early June, at the fairgrounds, has been officially canceled for the second year in a row.

According to a recent Facebook post on the Chester Fair's page, the Wine and Beer Tasting has been canceled, however, the status of the fair, which takes place annually at the end of August, remains undetermined at this time.

Year over year the popular annual tasting event had been growing. Traditionally sponsored by the Chester Package Store, the Wine and Beer tasting was a sort of kick-off to the summer event that locals and visitors alike looked forward to each year. Complete with music, entertainment and a variety of food vendors, the event had become a big success and was marked on the calendars of many people.
