- State Representative Christine Palm (D-36) has officially launched her campaign for a third term representing Chester, Deep River, Essex and Haddam.(Press Release)
- Church Street Child Care in Deep River is slated to close at the end of the academic school year. Since 1998 the child care center has been operated through the Deep River Congregational Church and served many young children throughout the tri-town area. (Facebook)
- The Annual Chester Tractor Parade is on for 2022 and will be held on February 20th from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. In addition to the tractors, there will be ice carving by Christopher Owens music by Leif Nilsson, chili by the Chester Hose Company, a bake sale by Chester Elementary School grade six graduation committee and the shops downtown will all be open.
