If you cannot attend and vote in person, you may attend and vote via ZOOM. Instructions for attendance registration and voting are as follows:
1. Log into the Annual Town Meeting at 7 p.m. using a device with a camera. Each household member attending the Meeting must log on with a separate device.
2. Upon entering, please wait to be assigned to a private non-recorded breakout room with the Registrars of Voters.
3. Upon entering the breakout room, the Registrars will ask you to hold your driver’s license or other appropriate identification up to the camera so the Registrars can verify your identification. At this time, you will be given a number, unique to you, that you will use when it comes time to place your vote.
4. Once identification verification is complete, you will be asked to leave the breakout room and reenter the public meeting room to wait for the Annual Town Meeting to begin. Please be sure to “leave breakout room” only, not “leave meeting.”
Voting Procedures:
5. Once it is time to vote, the ballot will be placed on the screen for everyone to see.
6. To place your vote, enter chat with “Registrars” only. Please take care to use the drop down menu to ensure that you are chatting directly with the Registrars and not with “Everyone.”
7. Enter your unique ID number together with your yes or no vote and click “enter.”
