Built in Watertown by Gowar and Knight this engine is a beautiful piece of safety equipment that will no doubt be appreciated and cherished by the department who commemorated the festive occasion with a fire engine-themed cake! The department wrote on its Facebook page, "This engine is truly a beautiful piece of apparatus. We are appreciative to the town for the support to purchase a much-needed upgrade to our equipment. We would like to thank the truck committee for all the hours they spent to bring this project to fruition: Carlos Uphold, Pete Waz, Tom Lee, John Ely, Steven Budney, Jack White and Doug Whittaker."
