For Deep River Fire Fighters Training Is Key

DEEP RIVER, CT — Every Wednesday night, except for the first Wednesday of every month, which is the ... meeting, the men and women who are members of the Deep River Volunteer Fire Department, suit up in their, heavy, hot, specialized gear and dive headfirst into a new training exercise.

The training varies from week to week, this past week the drill/training was hose advancement, attacking a fire from the cellar and firefighter down.

We live in an amazing community of small towns, where people put their lives on the line for the good of others and we need to thank our volunteer firefighters, EMS personal and all other local town volunteers for their time, effort and service!
