  1. A fire broke out in Deep River on Wednesday on Read Street displacing a single mom and her three children ages, 16, 13 and 12 who lost everything. Luckily no one was hurt and the family along with their dog made it out safely, however, they have nothing and are currently staying with friends. Carol Jones, the town of Deep River's Park and Recreation Director, has put together a GoFundMe page for the family who are now in need of everything. (GoFundMe)
  2. Valley Regional High School's Boys' Tennis team remains undefeated and has made its way to the Shoreline Conference title this season. Co-senior captains, Nic Wyszkowski and Hayden Lombardi, (No. 1 and 3 singles positions respectively) have led their team to a victorious season with steady optimism and sportsmanship, along with help from Head Coach Callie Riggio.
