Downtown Chester Transforms Into Halloween Town!
This Friday night, downtown Chester will be transformed into Halloween Town and you're invited!
CHESTER, CT — Looking for something fun to do to kick off the spooky Halloween weekend? Join in the fun in downtown Chester on Friday night, from 6 to 8 p.m. as Chester's Center is transformed from an idyllic New England center to a spooky Halloween Town.
Sponsored by The Hive@Chester, in collaboration with the Town of Chester and the Merchants of Chester and organized and funded by the Chester Elementary School PTO this annual event promises to be a good time for everyone.
Laurel Hill Cemetery will be home to the carved pumpkin contest as well as the FREE Cemetery Walk and Scavenger Hunt. The Spooky Walk can be enjoyed from 5 to 7 p.m. and the Scary Walk will be held from 7 to 9 p.m.

In addition, Chester's center will be closed to vehicles. Parking will be available in the public lots and merchants will be alive with outdoor food offerings and tricks or treats for the little ones.
