CHESTER, CT — Election Information

November 2, is a Municipal Election. Polls will be open from 6 a.m.– 8 p.m. The polling place is Chester Town Hall, 203 Middlesex Ave.

Voter Registration Requirements

To register in Connecticut, you must:

  • be a United States citizen
  • be a resident of a Connecticut town
  • be at least 17 years old (must turn 18 before election day)
  • have completed confinement and parole if previously convicted of a felony and have had your voting rights restored by Registrar

Voter registration cards are available at Town Hall, the Chester Public Library, the Department of Motor Vehicles, or online.

Election Day Registration (EDR) will be available on November 2. EDR will take place at Town Hall from 6 a.m. -8 p.m. Residents who wish to register and vote will need to provide identification and proof of residential address.
