Essex Elementary School PTO Sneaker Drive This Weekend
Got used sneakers! Drop them off this weekend at Olive Oyls or at the deer statues in Ivoryton at the Piano Factory.
ESSEX, CT — The Essex Elementary School PTO is doing it again! Collecting used sneakers to raise funds for the school through the Got Sneakers program.
The fall used sneaker collection was such a success, they are having another one this weekend. Simply drop off your used sneakers (any condition) at the deer statues at The Piano Factory in Ivoryton- 158 Main Street or Olive Oyls in downtown Essex this Saturday and Sunday (May 22nd-23rd) 8am-6pm. The deer will be wearing a Red Sox hat, or a Yankees hat. Put your used sneakers in front of your favorite team. Through the Got Sneakers program, the PTO gets $1 per pair of sneakers, which are then sent to developing countries. In October they collected 200 pairs!
