1. Essex Go Bragh Parade is dedicated to long-serving Park and Recreation Commissioner Virginia “Ginny” Willetts. The annual parade is scheduled to step off from Essex Town Hall at 10 a.m. and makes its way down Main Street Essex Village on Saturday, March 19. (Facebook)
2. The Shoreline Spartans Rugby Club is open to k-12th graders in the area. Practice starts soon. Learn more about this exciting sport for your young ones. (Facebook)
3. Get up and get out! Join the Essex Go Bragh Virtual 5k run/walk, which will happen the week of March 7. (Facebook).
4. Getting ready for spring. For the first time since 2020 The Connecticut Flower and Garden Show is back in Hartford. The colorful festive event will open on February 24 and run for four days.
