The Final Numbers Are In For Leah's Polar Plunge!

A staggering $17,640 was raised this year!

DEEP RIVER, CT — The numbers are in and Leah Kisselbrack could not be happier. Her Second Annual Polar Plunge, which was held November 14th at Cedar Lake, in Chester, raised a staggering $17,640!

The money will be donated equally to seven local food pantries and soup kitchens. Each organization will receive a check for $2,520.

"This is a game-changer," said Kisselbrack with a big smile. "We have started something very cool. Thank you all so much."

The total amount raised includes a 25 percent match from the Chester Rotary and Liberty Bank.

Kisslebrack plans on holding the event again next year, so get your team together and get ready to get cold for a good cause!
