Gallery One CT Presents T. Willie Raney Solo Exhibition
Ivoryton Artist's "Origin and Sequence" Exhibition on View from August 21 – September 25
The “Origin and Sequence” exhibition features work of T. Willie Raney of Ivoryton, CT. This solo exhibit focuses on the artist’s mixed media works that combine collagraphs and collage. Connecticut-based Gallery One is a virtual gallery representing a diverse group of established artists whose works reflect different artistic traditions.
“This collection of my work considers everyday interactions we have with each other and just how complex our conversations can be,” Raney said. She uses collagraphs to recreate and portray these conversations by layering elements, words and images that visually talk to each other.
“I find that many people are not familiar with this form of print-making. I am often asked about my process and the show reveals the inspiration and techniques used in my creative journey,” said Raney. Her complex and layered collagraphs invite viewers to take a closer look at this intriguing medium.
The exhibit opens for viewing on the gallery’s virtual exhibit platform on August 21 and runs through September 25. To view the virtual exhibit, visit the Gallery One website at www.galleryonect.com.
