IVORYTON, CT — The nights are cold, the leaves are changing color and the air has a crisp snap to it. It's officially fall here in New England and that means it's time for the Annual Ivoryton Pumpkin Festival, which will be held on Saturday, October 23 in downtown Ivoryton.

Kicking off the festivities, Bushy Hill Nature Center will be hosting The Great Pumpkin Carving Festival from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The pumpkins were generously donated by the Ivoryton Village Alliance and The Essex Police Department. Bring your own tools or use the ones provided. Will you carve something scary? Magical? Funny? Whatever you create for us, you’ll enjoy some festive fall fun. ( You can also bring your own pumpkin).

All the pumpkins will be transported to the Ivoryton Green to be part of the Pumpkin Festival, which will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. with Live Music & Entertainment, games actvities and spooky Halloween Happening at the Ivoryton Library - Along with local business specials! Brickside Pizza, Blue Hound Cookery Ivoryton Tavern and Gather again all participating.
