  2. The Deep River Fire Department will be holding its Chicken BBQ on Saturday, Aug. 5 from 5 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 a person, $10 for kids and seniors. Only 240 tickets will be sold. Get yours before they are gone. For more information call 860-304-3132. (DRFD via Facebook)
  3. Save the date for Boobstock 2023! On Sept. 16, starting at 1 p.m. at the Sobeiski Club in Deep River, the festivities will begin. There will be live music from five bands, raffles, picnic included and a cash bar. Proceeds will go to breast cancer patients at Middlesex and Smilow's Cignari Boutique.
