- The Essex Fire Marshal's Office extends a reminder to area residents and business owners about the crucial importance of fall fire prevention. This season introduces unique fire hazards. For more information click here. (Town of Essex)
- A Junk-In-The-Trunk Giving event will be held on Oct. 28 at the Deep River Congregational Church Green from 12 to 2 p.m. The event is being organized by the Chester, Deep River and Essex Buy Nothing Facebook group.
