  1. The Walking Tour of Ivoryton was postponed and it will be held this Sunday, Aug. 20 at 6 p.m. Hit the streets with history and learn about historic neighborhoods with knowledgeable guides. Meet at Ivoryton Library. According to the Essex Historical Society, "The cost is $5 (cash) per tour; free to EHS members. The general public and families welcome. Each tour lasts about an hour over fairly level terrain." (Essex Historical Society)
