ESSEX, CT — Join Essex Historical Society and the Connecticut River Museum for a free, day-long program on Indigenous peoples of the CT River Valley on Saturday, September 25 from 10am-4pm. Entitled "The Connecticut Headwaters to the Sound: A Day of Stories and Song with the Nehantic and the Abenaki", the program features talks, a drum group, ceremonies, Native crafts and more.
