Indoor Dining Changes At The Essex Public Market

ESSEX, CT — In an e-mail to customers, The Essex Public Market explained that it will be "rolling back indoor dining operations in accordance with CDC recommendations.

The email read:

"Outdoor Dining
Remains in place as is.
Masks are not required

Indoor Dining Changes
We are rolling back indoor dining operations in accordance with the CDC recommendations. We KNOW this is not what anyone wants to hear or deal with, but we will always err on the side of caution when it comes to the safety of our staff, our staff's young children, and our guests. As of today, all tables are returning to socially distanced for INDOOR dining, employees are required to wear masks, and guests are asked to wear masks upon entering the building until seated at your table. Please help us continue staying on the right side of things and remember, we have a wonderful takeout and delivery option through our site!
