It's Budget Time For Region 4

ESSEX, CHESTER, DEEP RIVER, CT — A district meeting of Regional School District No. 4 of the State of Connecticut, whose member towns are the towns of Chester, Deep River and Essex, will be held Via Google Meet:(Dial (617) 675-4444 ; Pin: 462 819 595 4326#), in accordance with State Executive Order 7B, on May 3, at 7 p.m., for the following purposes:

To adopt a Regional Education Budget of ($21,938,122) twenty one million, nine hundred
thirty eight thousand, one hundred twenty two dollars for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2021.
The meeting will adjourn to a yes/no vote on the budget, which will take place on the voting
machines in each of the member towns on the day following the District Meeting; therefore, the
vote on voting machines will take place May 4, from noon to eight p.m.

Copies of the proposed budget are available on the district website for Chester, Deep River,
Essex and Region 4 at http://www.reg4.k12.ct.us, and at the Town Clerk's Office of each of the
Towns of Chester, Deep River and Essex.

Regional School District 4 provides middle and high school public education for its member towns. John Winthrop Middle School provides educational services for approximately 240 students in grades 7 and 8 and Valley Regional High School provides comprehensive high school programs for approximately 600 students in grades 9-12.
