1. Lacrosse was a good fit for recent Valley Regional High School student Sage Lepore who was an integral part of helping the Warriors achieve great things this past season. According to a Zip06 article, "Sage has played on the offensive end of the field throughout her career and became a dangerous member of the Warriors’ attack. When she has the ball in her stick, Sage focuses on doing her job and making the best play possible for Head Coach Randy Netsch’s squad. During her senior season, Sage helped the Valley girls’ lacrosse team finish with an overall record of 14-4, qualifying for both Shorelines and states. 2. Mark your calendar, for August 11 - September 11 for "Ring Of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash." The Man in Black is back! From the songbook of Johnny Cash comes this unique musical. According to the Ivoryton Playhouse website, the show follows a sort of ages-of-man path from green country-boy idealism into the sloughs of a hard-living musician’s disillusionment and on up to the mountains of spiritual redemption and the healing power of home and family. This musical contains 38 of Johnny Cash’s classic hits—including “Country Boy,” “A Thing Called Love,” “Five Feet High and Rising,” “Daddy Sang Bass,” “Ring of Fire,” “I Walk the Line,” “I’ve Been Everywhere,” “The Man in Black” and “Hurt” performed by a multi-talented cast.
