Support Local Restaurants in Essex Auxiliary's Child & Family Raffle!
Twelve lucky winners will soon be enjoying restaurant gift card meals in Essex, Deep River, or Chester restaurants because they purchased Let’s Eat Out! raffle tickets. The raffle, sponsored by the Essex Auxiliary of Child & Family Agency, promotes business for local restaurants that have struggled during the pandemic, while also showing appreciation for owners and staff. The Essex Auxiliary is declaring that help is on the way!

The Auxiliary has purchased gift cards from 37 local restaurants. The gift cards, valued at $25, $50, or $75, will be the prizes in the raffle drawing scheduled for May 21. Three winners will receive $750 worth of restaurant gift cards, four winners will receive $500 worth of restaurant gift cards, and five winners will receive $250 worth of restaurant gift cards. Gift cards do not expire and are redeemable for food only, no alcohol.

Community members can help jumpstart the revenue flow for the local restaurants by participating in this “win-win” fundraiser. Raffle ticket buyers win great prizes, the restaurants increase income, and the Auxiliary uses net proceeds to benefit the capital projects and services of Child & Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut.

The Agency nurtures children and families to develop their strengths through its service, partnership, and advocacy. The Agency, like local restaurants, has suffered the loss of income during the COVID pandemic.
