IVORYTON, CT — A community endeavor; this weekend will be the first weekend to see the bevy of gleaming lights that make up the very special, Ivoryton Illuminations. Although the opening event, Santa visit and official tree lighting ceremony are once again on hold due to Covid, all the dancing, colorful lights are up and shining thanks to volunteers, the Ivoryton Alliance, the Essex Fire Department and event sponsor, Prive Swiss Wellness. Celebrating its 12th anniversary, the Ivory Illuminations boast some of the largest living Christmas Tree in the state with over 500,000-holiday lights. Families can enjoy the beautiful dancing lights all December long, from the warmth of their cars, by tuning into radio station 101.5 FM. Stop by and enjoy!
