Looking For A Boat This Summer?
The Essex Fire Engine Co. 1 is selling their retired 24' EFD Fireboat and you could be the proud new owner.
ESSEX, CT — The Essex Fire Engine Co. 1 is selling its 1993 Privateer fireboat.
According to a recent Facebook post from the Essex Fire Engine Co. 1, the retired boat is equipped with a 2016 Evinrude Etec 225hp two-stroke outboard with low hours. The sale also includes a Karavan roller trailer.
The boat's fuel tank and center deck section have been replaced and the hull and cabin have been awl gripped. The roof was replaced in 2006 with a new aluminum roof and the pump and deck gun have removed.

Written offers are currently being accepted by email to chief@essexctfd.org.
All bids must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. July 10. The boat will be sold to the highest bidder and is being sold as-is without warranty. Payment will be accepted by certified check only.
