1. On Monday, Feb. 28, students in Region 4 schools will have the choice of whether or not to wear masks at school. However, per federal regulations, masks will still be mandatory on school transportation. (Zip06.com)
2. A new musical, written by Connecticut writers, is set to take to the stage at the Ivoryton Playhouse this April. The show is called, "Star of Freedom." Music and lyrics are by Jeff Blaney and the book is by Lawrence Thelen. Mark your calendars! (Broadway World)
3. The town of Deep River has put out a request for proposal (RFP) for police equipment including in-car video evidence systems and body-worn cameras. (Press Release Desk)
4. Connecticut residents can lend a helping hand to those in need in Ukraine by donating to the Stamford-based Americares nonprofit. Americares provides medicine and medical supplies during conflicts and other emergencies and is prepared to respond to the current conflict in Ukraine. (CTInsider)
