DEEP RIVER, CT — The Mayflower Factor, How They Became Us, and Does it Still Matter?

Author, historian, and DRHS board member, Jerry Roberts will present this timely program at the Stone House on November 18th at 7 p.m. Learn how this small group of outcasts and survivors have influenced our nation’s history and why their story remains relevant as the 400th anniversary of the first Thanksgiving approaches. Today more than one out of 30 Americans are direct descendants of the Mayflower Pilgrims! Roberts will also talk about how every American family has its own Mayflower story of how their ancestors came here and why as he encourages us all to do some more climbing in our family trees. This is not just history; it is the story of us!
