Memorial Day Parades In The Tri-Towns

It's time to honor and mourn those who have fought proudly for our country.

ESSEX, CHESTER, DEEP RIVER, CT — Memorial Day each year is a time set aside to honor and mourn the military personnel who have died in the performance of their military duties while serving in the United States Armed Forces.

CHESTER: The annual Memorial Day Parade and Exercises in Chester are planned for Monday, May 31st, at 9 a.m. The parade marches to the Honor Roll, down Main Street to the flagpole and will end there.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no reception following the parade at the Chester Meeting House.

DEEP RIVER: Deep River's Memorial Day parade will be held on Monday, May 31st. It will step off at 9 a.m. from Devitt Field and proceed directly to the Veterans Memorial Green.

ESSEX: There will be no Memorial Day Parade in the town of Essex, but there will be a Memorial Day ceremony at the Essex Veterans Memorial Hall in Centerbrook starting at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 31st.
