Only 3 New Cases Of Covid Reported In Tri-Towns Since 7/30/21
Although the number of positive Covid cases are spiking in the nation, there are only three reported new cases in the tri-towns since 7/30.
ESSEX, CHESTER, DEEP RIVER, CT β Governor Ned Lamont announced over the weekend that the daily coronavirus positivity rate for the state had climbed above 3 percent and cases of hospitalizations were also on the rise.
However, for now, things in the tri-towns are looking good; according to the Connecticut Department of Public Health, there were only three reported positive cases of coronavirus in the towns since July 30, 2021. All three cases were in the town of Essex, which has had a total of 427 positive cases as of August 2, 2021. Chester has had a total of 236 cases and Deep River has had a total of 309 cases.
