  1. Deep River Day parking announcement. According to the Town of Deep River webpage, "There is no parking on both sides of Route 80, Woodbury Road and Bahr Road during the fireworks celebration taking place on Saturday, 09/16/2023. The celebration begins at 6 p.m. As in years past, there is parking at Plattwood Park (while available) and JW Middle School. If parking at JW Middle School, there will be a shuttle available from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (Town of Deep River)
  2. Charity Benedict is the new Executive Director at Tri-Town Youth Services. According to a Facebook post from Tri-Town Youth Services, "Charity joins Tri-Town with a robust background working in municipal, non-profit, and county government settings. She shares Tri-Town’s commitment to the crucial importance of mental health services and positive youth development programming and is excited to be an advocate for the youth and families in the Tri-Town area."   3. It's that time of year, time for the Safe Grad Raffle. Help give Valley Regional High School seniors a safe last night together as a class to celebrate their biggest day. Purchase a $20 raffle ticket! You'll have a chance to win one of the five Visa gift cards. Grand prize is $1000! Paper tickets are for sale at Compass Rose in Deep River on 4 River Street, 860.322.4523 Or purchase tickets online with the Paypal URL or Venmo.
