Positive Case of Covid-19 At Chester Elementary School
A positive case of Covid-19 at the Chester Elementary School has impacted 17 students and five staff members at the school.
CHESTER, CT — Although there is a high percentage of people in the are who have been vaccinated, the Coronavirus is still a threat.
On Friday, April 23, the following letter went out to the Region 4 School community informing them about a positive Covid-19 case at the Chester Elementary School:
"Dear Chester Elementary School Community,
Today we were informed of a positive COVID-19 case impacting Chester Elementary School. The last date the individual attended CES was today, April 23, 2021.
This case impacts 17 students and 5 staff members at Chester Elementary School. The families of all impacted students, and staff will be notified by the school administration. All individuals who had close contact with the known case will also be contacted by local health departments."
