- The largest publisher of regional interest books in the nation, Globe Pequot, will be moving into 64 South Main Street, Essex this summer. Currently housed in Guilford, the independent book publisher will be occupying the 7,000-square-foot space that was formerly leased to Morgan Stanley for a decade. (CT Insider)
- The Deep River Historical Society celebrates black history month by remembering key town residents that helped to shape the history of the town. (Press Release Desk)
- It will be an "eggstravagant" night as the Essex Library, in collaboration with the Hotchkiss Library of Sharon and the Darien Library, will host the “Queen of the Coop” Lisa Steele, March 3, at 7 p.m. on Zoom. Steele has been deemed the 'Eggspert'on how to raise chickens and what to do with eggs. She will be discussing new and "eggciting" recipes. (New Haven Register)
