Recycle Electronics At Essex Landfill

ESSEX, CT — FREE Electronic Waste Disposal
The Essex Landfill and Recycling Center offers a collection container for town residents to conveniently dispose of unwanted electronic waste. Items can be dropped off during normal transfer station hours (Monday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.). Valid I.D. must be presented to prove town residence. See attendant before dropping items off. Accepted Electronics include: computers, monitors, printers, VCRs, cell phones, television, DVD players, copiers, scanners/fax machines, iPods/PDAs, modems, keyboard/mice, stereo equipment, telephones, microwave ovens and cameras.
