Austen is committed to reaching every student no matter their aptitude, behavior or background. He balances predictable learning routines and a cohesive classroom culture with fun, creative and engaging exercises to make a meaningful difference in his students lives. He also volunteers to run an after school chess club and coaches baseball. He is a remarkable and dedicated educator.
