Remembering 9/11 In Chester

CHESTER, CT — 9/11 Commemoration at the UCC:

This Saturday, September 11, the United Church of Chester (29 W. Main St) invites you to a community-wide commemoration of the events of September 11, 2001. The observance will be held outdoors on the church steps. Our bell will peal twenty times at 8:46 a.m. in recognition of the twenty years that have passed since that horrific day, and the time will include scripture, prayer and an opportunity for silent reflection. Your presence that morning will be a blessing.
